PROBLEMS WITH CHAO MACHINE
my chao will not save to my vmu it says "copy failed" why?

Phil, check how much memory is free in your VMU. Chao data takes 128 blocks, and a Chao Upload file takes up 11 blocks. Adding the Chao Save Data (28 blocks) and Main Save Data (10 blocks) gives you a grand total of 177 blocks (I'm such a mathematician). More than enough to save everything in one VMU. Unless of course, you have other save data or have the Launch Party download from the Events section. Try freeing up some space on your VMU and you should be able to fit that little bugger just fine.

What's the best way to raise my Chao's affection %?

Good Question Brent! To keep your Chao happy and to raise it's affection percentage, make sure it knows you care! Give it lots of hugs, feed it well, and make sure you don't hurt it!

FILE NOT FOUND
i try to leave my caeo at the daycare... but, when i try it, a window pops up saying "FILE NOT FOUND" help me!!!!!!!

Larry, you need to create Chao Save Data. When putting your Chao on the Chao Machine, press and hold Y+A on until you hear a Ringing sound. Now you can upload your Chao into the Daycare or send him to the Fun Room to get Evaluated! Note: Chao Save Data takes 11 blocks and is always saved in the same VMU as your Main Save Data, regardless of what VMU you place your Chao in. Happy Parenting!

You're welcome Kathleen! Your Chao will brighten up and sparkle at some point during a Chao Race. When this happens, push the A button to cheer for it! It will be so happy to hear your voice that it will charge forward, faster than before!
